I am now in Ft. Collins, CO after leaving the twelve tribes for org commune/farms in US in which I lived and worked since 2009 and in Avalon Gardens from 2004.-2009. Overall positive experience except religious doctrine and nepotism got to me! No slackers can live there long so that is a positive experience but true personal needs are unmet unless your on the inner circle ie either a leader or related to a leader. The bottom line both of these communities have a dogma carefully disguised but privately expressed is that each believe they are the only way to G O D or enlightenment! …Another former member and friend was told after a disagreement with leadership that if he didn’t do what the said they send him away and insure that he would never see his children again! This leader was a part of a family of leaders….Thankful for Sumner’s You Tube channel and Raven’s desire to create another community! I still am optimistic about the potential for true community to evolve! And my former member friend is also! I am no bashing anyone here just expressing the painful truth!
Would like to hear from both Sumner and Raven!
